About Sai Nirmalya

Shree Shirdi Saibaba Temple, known as Sai Nirmalya, is a temple to Shirdi Sai Baba in Govindpur, Cuttack, Odisha.

Shirdi Sai Baba

Sai Baba lived in the village of Shirdi in Maharashtra until 1918. People of every faith came to him. He asked for two things above all: shraddha, which is faith, and saburi, which is patience.

Why a lamp

Lamps have a special place in Baba’s story. The Sai Satcharitra tells how the shopkeepers of Shirdi once refused him oil, and Baba lit the lamps of Dwarkamai with water. They burned through the night.

If you cannot come

Not every devotee can reach the temple. This website lets you offer a lamp or an aarti from wherever you are. We place your chosen name on the lamp, light it before Baba, and send you the photo or video on WhatsApp.
